Epidemiology

Florida Department of Health in Alachua County

Epidemiology

Human surveillance of diseases and conditions is required in order to meet the mission of public health: to focus attention on identifying, assessing, and controlling the presence and speed of communicable diseases. There are over 90 diseases and conditions listed as reportable. Any grouping, clustering, or outbreak is reported and acted upon immediately. Reports can be taken 24/7 by calling 352-334-7900.

Epi InvestiGATOR
