Services 

Physical examination, health screening, laboratory services, some prescription medicines, x-ray referrals, well and sick care, medical follow-up, referral to specialists, immunizations, and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases. PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) services for HIV negative individuals. The Primary Care Program cannot pay for hospitalization or delivery of babies. Primary Care patients, not eligible for We Care, who receive treatment in the hospital or emergency room, will be responsible for the hospital bill.

Eligibility

Based upon available resources, the Florida Department of Health in Alachua County accepts new Primary Care patients regardless of income, insurance status, or Medicaid status. Fees are applied on a sliding scale based on the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
