The Florida Department of Health in Alachua County (DOH-Alachua) offers tuberculosis tests at our main office, 224 SE 24th St., Gainesville, FL. The test costs $20. Department staff administer TB tests for work or school daily at the East Gainesville location. For other locations, please call for schedule. Exceptions apply due to state observed holidays
You must return within 48 to 72 hours after the test is administered in order to complete it. Only DOH-Alachua Immunizations and Epidemiology staff can read and certify tuberculosis test results.
A medical appointment is required to complete physical exam forms or documentation that a client is free from communicable diseases.
